Langham Village Recreation Ground (LVRG) sits at the heart of Langham village, near the North Norfolk coast. It is a welcoming place for everyone of all ages, all year round, and provides a wide open space for walking and running, a five-a-side football pitch, a children’s play area with a colourful climbing frame, four swings (two flat seats and two cradle seats), a slide and supernova, and a little pavilion with a small terrace area. There are two outdoor toilets, available only during events. A recycling facility for clothes and paper is in the car park area.

Off-street parking is provided and the approach from the car park area is step-free, allowing people with buggies or wheelchairs, or anyone less able, to access the recreation ground with ease. Benches are dotted around. The Recreation Ground is surrounded by hedges and is protected from Hollow Lane by a five-bar gate, making it a safer environment for children. Management has been taken over by a team of volunteers. Several fundraising events have already taken place: the money raised goes to improve the amenities for the benefit of all, whether locals or visitors. Plans are in hand to improve the Recreation Ground further. For more information please email langhamvrg@gmail.com or visit the Langham Village Recreation Ground Facebook and Instagram pages. HEALTH AND SAFETY Please note: dogs are not allowed within the grounds. No barbecues or fires are permitted. Please take your litter home. Langham Village Recreation Ground is inspected regularly. However, we ask everyone to report any problems or damage to langhamvrg@gmail.com. All persons using the facility do so at their own risk. Play equipment must be used for its intended purpose only and children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult. Please help us to keep our Recreation Ground a safe and pleasant space for everyone.
