Monthly Data Summary from Langham's own SAMS2 Unit

The most recent data, from the village’s own SAMS2 ( Speed Activated Monitoring System ) Unit, analysed from its location at the northern end of North Street, between 31 st July and 29 th August 2023, within the 20mph speed limit area, recorded a total of 12,099 vehicles driving into Langham from the Morston direction, with an average daily total of between 70% and 75% of those breaking the speed limit, regular daily maximum speeds of between 40 and 60mph – and included a maximum vehicle speed recorded at 75mph, on Sunday 13 th August at 10-55pm.
