The main road through the village will be closed between 6.30am and 11.30pm. The diversion round the 'large block' will be signposted. Street Fayre visitors will be parking in the free car park opposite the old Langham Glassworks.
Only a few days to go now - the car park is ready, the bunting is up, bric a brac has been collected and myriad cakes and scones have been baked. Even the weather has improved some!
We hope to see you all at the fayre and any offers of help will be gratefully received. Diane still has some tickets left for this talk (in Binham Village Hall as the Parish Room will be closed for repairs).
Details HERE. Just when we thought the weather couldn't get any worse Barry Betts spotted this tornado forming just to the west of the village at 5.30pm Tuesday 10th July. It lasted 5-6 minutes before it broke up and petered out. All photos copyright Barry Betts - as seen on Look East weather, 12/07/12 The winning square was drawn at the Parish Room coffee morning, Saturday 7th July. The draw was I-21, highlighted by the red circle and the name against this square was Paul Fawcett. Paul wins £50 (a generous donation) so the whole £512 raised goes towards the Parish Room.
Congratulations to Juila Thompson for an excellent effort. Another one of Shean's quizzes complete with 'connections' rounds. Profits in aid of East Anglian Air Ambulance.
