Seniors vs Juniors Match

3/6/2012

This rain affected match was played over 4 x 20 minute "halves" to allow the seniors to get their breath back.  Several players from the Seniors took the opportunity to grab a cigarette, others didn't appear to have the strength to follow suit.  During the 4th period the juniors team had grown to 18 players in a move that seemed to elude the referee.  The game culminated in a penalty shoot out with the best team winning but who that was passed me by.

Football is a cruel game as Shean demonstrates here.

Churchyard Clear-up Saturday 2nd June

1/6/2012

As many volunteers as possible are wanted to help clear the churchyard.  Please bring any tools that will help in the tasks of clearing weeds and tidying up graves.  Maureen Dennis has kindly volunteered to provide tea/coffee in the Parish Rooms between 10 - 12.

Let's take a bit of the strain from Ken and Barry.
