BRING AND BUY COFFEE MORNING  Saturday 26th May 10am. – 12 noon

20/5/2012

The traditional Bank Holiday at the end of May has been
transferred to the Diamond Jubilee week-end which
will most probably be a busy time for all. So this is
the nearest week-end date available that will not clash
with other arrangements! This event will be held in the
churchyard or inside the church if it is raining. There
will be the usual coffee morning stalls and refreshments.
If anyone would like to bake a cake or bring along books,
gifts and bric-a-brac, all will be gratefully received. We
look forward to seeing you. If you would like to help on
a stall, do get in touch. Proceeds will be for the Langham
Church General Fund. For further details contact:Ann Sherriff

Seniors vs Juniors football 03/06/12

9/5/2012

The biggest football match of the year was almost called off due to a pitch invasion in the early hours of Monday morning - several cattle found their way onto the playing field and left their distinctive calling cards.  Manager Alan Lawrence put a brave face on and said the match would go ahead despite some 'dirty tricks'.

The match is scheduled for 3:00pm on the Playing Field on Sunday June 3rd.  Come and support the teams.

Do you want to brag about your Sunflower?  Let me have the height of your best plant (in inches) and I will update the League Table.  As I get to enter the first result we have shot into first place but this may not last.

If you have not bought a plant yet, there is still time as Barbara has a few left.
