From mid-August, North Norfolk residents will receive a letter informing them of a change to the electoral registration system. The Individual Electoral Registration system (IER) makes every eligible voter individually responsible for registering themselves to vote.
Most people will be told they don't have to do anything as they will automatically be added to the new system. But we want to make sure that everyone else is aware of their chance to register too. If you’ve just turned 18 or you’ve not registered before, you can now get online to register to vote. This is your chance to make sure you have your say in next year's national and local elections.
North Norfolk residents will be sent a letter from their Electoral Registration Officer this week informing them of a change to the electoral registration system.
