Update on Langham Hotel

7/8/2016

Dear Langham Property Owner,

You will recall I last wrote to you on 3rd July regarding the sale and opening of The Langham Hotel.

I am now very pleased to announce that Avada exchanged Contracts this week with a company called The Bijou Collection. The Bijou Collection is a family business run by Sam Cutmore-Scott (other directors include his parents Mark and Jo).

The Bijou Collection is a high-end hospitality and leisure group operating in the UK and France. The Langham will be their sixth establishment since 1997 and will no doubt benefit from almost 20 years accumulated experience in the Food, Beverage, Hospitality and Service industries.  It will reflect the confluence of all Bijou's activities and experience over the years and as well as offering ‘traditional' hotel, restaurant, bar and spa facilities, it will further benefit the local community through health and happiness classes and retreats including Yoga, Pilates and general Fitness and by making itself available for elegant weddings, corporate functions and other celebrations.

You can read more about the Bijou group at  thebijoucollection.com  but I have had the pleasure of seeing their operation first hand and have absolute confidence in their plans for The Langham.

Although most of their collection in based around the home counties, Mark and Jo originate from Norfolk and are passionate about the North Norfolk Coastal area.

The target date for handover of The Hotel is late December 2016 with a view to commencing trading in early 2017.  The new owners will make contact with you shortly to share more of their vision and plans for how they will make The Langham the magnificent destination that we all wish it to be.

In the meantime, I thank you again for your patience and wish you a wonderful summer.

Kind regards,

Ian Johnston
Managing Director
Avada Langham Ltd
