Langham Street Fayre    28th July 2012

Picture
The original Fayre held in 1974 was just a few roadside stalls but it has grown steadily over the years. On the day of the fayre the main village street is closed to traffic and lined with an exciting range of stalls, entertainments, refreshments, competitions, children's games and exhibits - in 2012 we are pleased to have already received applications from many quality craft stalls and booked entertainment including a Punch and Judy show, Pinxton Puppets and Professor Crump and additional children's games and competitions. A further variety of Craft Stalls will be located under cover in the Church and grounds.

There is a dedicated website for the Street Fayre.

__Entry to the Fayre is only £1 for adults and free for children 14 and under and there is plenty of free parking.

The money raised by the Fayre and associated events is used to support the Parish Room (Village Hall), Church, Playing field, School and other local causes. Every pound raised helps to maintain our community.

This year, only the main Street (Holt Road) from the
crossroads at the Church to the Hollow Lane junction
will be closed. Access to Hollow Lane, The Cornfield
and Swans Close will not be compromised.

The road will be closed from 6.30am and will reopen
at 11.30pm. Emergency vehicles will have access at all
times.

Stalls

** Latest News - April 2012 ** All stall pitches are now fully booked, so we are unable to accommodate any more applications. Thank you to everyone who has applied - we have a fantastic array of craft and food stalls this year with lots of new stallholders, as well as many of the old faces too! Look forward to seeing you all on the day.
